Banu is a clinical psychologist with a strong academic background in both psychology and business, holding a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and an MBA. Her early work in the humanitarian sector, particularly supporting refugee communities, continues to shape her deep commitment to serving marginalised and underprivileged populations. Her postgraduate research focused on trauma-reduction interventions for refugee children, and she remains passionate about developing her expertise in trauma-informed care to better support individuals facing complex and ongoing adversity.
Banu has clinical experience gained through her postgraduate training in both hospital and clinic settings. She currently practices as an associate psychologist at a local therapy clinic, where she works with both adults and children across a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety and mood disorders, panic disorder, personality disorders, developmental challenges, and neurocognitive conditions.
